Performing Arts influenced me in training students to skill up their confidence and personality whilst coaching them for Trinity College London Performance examinations and LAMDA Communication and Acting examinations. Furthermore, in 2014, I commenced my full-time teaching journey at Lyceum International Schools as a KS3 Speech and Drama Teacher as I mentioned before. Back then, I have led classes as large as in groups of 40 students and taught kids from 11 years above. Moreover, my full-time teaching did not stop me in working with my private tutoring as well as I was offered Visiting Lecturing at York Graduate Campus as an English lecturer as well as a Primary Teacher Educator. My experiences boosted me to become strong and more capable and confident to be in any sort of an audience whereas to share my knowledge in every way possible as a result, I have my own Institute of Speech and Drama with almost around +75 students who are trained for International Examinations throughout the year. Currently, with all my experiences and the move, I was given an opportunity to be a part in Gateway College Sri Lanka as a KS3 English Language and Literature Teacher and a KS4 Drama Teacher.

I have been instrumental in helping my school’s developing curriculum and programs for their classes, performing, acting and excel in and seen real improvement in students I’ve worked with. For example, inter-house drama program was entirely decided and designed by my direction and it helped and encouraged many talented students to step out and showcase their skills through it. Another was, resulting in building their memory skills, confidence, corporation and focus through training for Trinity College London Examinations annually for students from 9 years above.
With my strong work history and topical education, I am confident I would fit in well at your school and willing to perform the best ways possible to enhance the quality and standards.
