With over 9 years of teaching English and Literature, I focus on individual learner using a learner centred approach to facilitate learning. Working from known, I introduce the unknown and for years I have inspired learners to surpass their personal goals and achieve academic excellence.I value the language skills already acquired for they are the foundation upon which new skills are built. I believe a teacher should not just teach but encourage the learner to pursue knowledge not only for examinations but for its sake.I therefore encourage my learners to read widely.I test my learners continuously and give immediate feedback. Parents and guardians are vital pillars in learning and I involve them every step of the way. As such, I ensure we read from the same page. I'm strict with discipline and I look at time as an asset in learning. Punctuality is key in my teaching career. I always allow my learners to express themselves freely and endeavor to create rapport from the very beginning as we set the rules for the lessons.
