I am currently employed as a Secondary School English Language and Literature Teacher with the Ministry of Education in Trinidad. I possess over 7 years of experience guiding students between remedial to expert levels of proficiency. This has taught me how to navigate different instructional styles in order to cater to a student's individual needs. I try to maintain a dynamic and friendly approach to my lessons so that students feel comfortable enough to participate in class. This ensures that they enjoy the learning process. No child deserves to feel incompetent or frustrated. All students deserve to feel seen and understood.
