Good day! I am so delighted to be here with you. My name is Salve Bolante-Solomon and I have been a teacher for 9 years now teaching all subject areas to both Preschool and Elementary level in a private school. Presently I am in pursuit of my master’s degree in education management and I hope to complete it soon. In addition, along the way I have taken up other short courses that have enhanced my teaching skills.

What do you think has kept me going all this while? It is not so much the pay or benefits because it is something that I love doing. Besides, seeing the smiles on students’ faces when they learn something new is an amazing feeling. One of the reasons why most people opt for this career path is due to the possibility of making a difference in someone’s life. This has given me hope even when there were no prospects of promotion without any need to prove myself first. To me it is not about how much knowledge you have but how you can pass it on to others.
