Over 9 years experience instilling in-depth understanding of Maths fundamentals and enabling improved academic success. I have prepared students for 7+ and 11+ entrance exams for independent and grammar schools in London.
I also have experience working with students with ADHD, incorporating principles of yoga and mindfulness to help with focus and concentration during class. I've also led summer workshops for EYFS and Primary stage students teaching Maths, English and Reasoning focusing on individual development goals through detailed learning plans.
I offer 1:1 or small group sessions for ages 5-14.
I infuse fun and practical elements in class that makes it easy for students to understand concepts. My aim is to make lessons interesting and feed their curiosity because kids learn a lot more this way! I always give a quick 5-10 minute quiz at the start of every lesson to assess their strengths and weaknesses that further helps me gauge their overall understanding of concepts and prepare for future lessons.
