Very professional, knowledgeable, and supportive

Not one of those who claim to teach sitar in two weeks. Mr Shirish is very professional and punctual in classes, and possesses deep knowledge about sitar basics required for a beginner.
He is also supportive and patiently answers all the naive questions a beginner might have.
The structure of the course is well-designed and lessons build on top of each other well to cover all areas.

AMAZING First Lesson!!!

Shirish is a total professional. I learned SO much at that first lesson. I have a degree in (western) music, so I've had tons of music teachers, and I also teach music. Shirish is very knowledgeable, patient and open minded (I used a guitar while my sitar was in the repair shop). My original goal was just to study sitar for a few months until I could find a rudra veena / teacher, but upon reflection, if Shirish is willing to keep working with me long term, I will do both. Very excited for the next lesson!
