I am teaching Carnatic music on the violin through Skype for the past 5 years and before playing the violin I used to teach vocal since that's the basic for every instrument. I also perform concerts(both solo violin and accompaniments) during music festivals and I am confident that students who learn violin from me will definitely learn with enthusiasm and the way I interact with students make them even more comfortable. I also teach film songs that requires gamakas (oscillating between one & other notes) so the student will be able to learn all forms of music. Hence, practicing vocal makes them play violin quickly & efficiently. If the student has an interest, even the toughest instrument becomes simple.
