I have done my masters in Economics from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade with a specialization in International Trade and Finance. I have grown a huge interests in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Trade, Finance and Econometrics. As a part of coursework for Statistics and Mathematics, I have gained knowledge for Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Regression, Testing of Hypothesis, Statistical Modelling, Stress Testing, etc. I have developed programming skillsets like SQL, Python and visualization skills like Tableau to apply my knowledge for statistics and econometrics through data.
During my coursework, I have published two research paper in the area of international trade where I have worked with Badri Narayanan Gopalakrishnan, PhD, Lead Advisor and Head, Trade and Commerce and Strategic economic dialogue at NITI Ayog. Our first paper "An Economywide Analysis of Potential Impact of The US Supply Chain Policies" has been published in ASERC Journal of Socio Economic Studies (2021, Vol.4, No.2).This paper tries to explain how the recently recommended supply chain policies of the US can impact the global supply chain. Our Second paper “US 100-Day Reviews under Executives Order 14017: A Critical Evaluation in the Context of India” has been published in Journal of Development Economics and Management Research Studies (JDMS) ISSN 2582 5119 (Online), 09 (11), 1- 9, January-March, 2022.In this paper, We examine the critical issues regarding the new supply chain policy recommendations of the USA and discuss the potential impacts that India might be suffering from. Besides, I have done my master’s thesis under the supervision of Dr. Sugata Marjit where I have extended the New Ricardian Specific Factor Model in HO-framework with financial capital. The model has also been extended for inequality implication with respect to imperfect credit market, immigration and unemployment kind of framework.
