Hi, im nirushi..
I am a professional dancer. I've been in the dance industry for over 20 years. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Bharatanatyam from Ramanathan Academy of fine arts, university of jaffna. I have now established my own Bharatha Nrityalaya Dance Academy and nurtured students. I have studied up to grade 6 of the North Ceylon Oriental Music Association... I'm more interested in getting teaching.In Bharatanatyam, I will be giving Kalari training along with subjects like Adavu, Kasthas, Uruppadikal, Bharathanatyam songs, Naduvangam, Thattukkali, etc. Bharathanatyam Grade Exams, School Syllabus will be taught. Classes in Carnatic music(vocal) and folk dance will also be included.
