Pharmacology has been my favorite subject since I was a student . I have got a prize in it as a best overall student . Having the passion of teaching since my undergraduate studies, I used to explain pharmacology topics to my colleagues and summarize the chapters to make it simple and easy to understand . I followed my passion of teaching and become an expert lecturer now with 13 years of experience, I use illustrations in explaining the topics that stick in the memory better than just words . I present the information in a simple way through PowerPoint presentations. As pharmacology is a multidisciplinary subject which is essential for all students in the medical field; I taught pharmacy, medicine and nursing students during their undergraduate studies.
I also teach communication skills in pharmacy practice to pharmacy students where they learn how to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers, as well as how to communicate with the public community in different contexts and settings. This makes them ready to become professional pharmacists with strong skills that enable them to provide patient centered care rather than just selling medicine .
