Muhammad Sakib - Quran Tutor and Islamic Scholar
Overcoming Challenges, Inspiring Others
My name is Muhammad Sakib, and my journey to Islamic scholarship is a testament to dedication and resilience. Hailing from a small village in Bihar, I am visually impaired, but that hasn't limited my pursuit of knowledge. By the grace of Allah (SWT), I completed Hifz (Quran memorization) in a remarkable two years in South Africa. My hunger for learning fueled my completion of the Alim course, mastering the core tenets of Islam. Furthermore, I delved deeper into the beautiful art of Quran recitation by completing Saba Ashra (seven nd ten Qirat styles) and Kabeer Qirat (advanced recitation techniques).
Empowering Learners of All Abilities
My passion extends beyond personal knowledge. For years, I've been a trusted guide for students of all ages (6 to 43) and backgrounds. Teachers recognized my ability to break down complex Islamic concepts in a clear and understandable way, making them accessible to students who may have struggled. This led them to entrust me with their students' Islamic education. My expertise extends to visually impaired students as well. I am fluent in Braille for Arabic, English, and Urdu, allowing me to tailor my teaching methods to their unique needs and learning styles.
A Multifaceted Approach to Islamic Education
Recognizing the evolving needs of the Muslim community, I furthered my education. I completed the Aqaid course online under the esteemed guidance of Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Ghuman, solidifying my understanding of Islamic theology. Additionally, I participated in the Workplace Readiness Program under the guidance of ADV Wahid, where I honed critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This unique blend of Islamic knowledge and contemporary skills allows me to connect with students on a deeper level, empowering them to navigate the complexities of the modern world.
