I am an MS graduate who was working in Japan in the last year as a researcher. I am to start as a PhD in Japan after a break. During this break, I hope to develop a good foundation in basic science among kids and incur a want to question science/ what is taught among students as I felt that was lacking in the education system while I was growing up. Through my teaching journey, I hope to pique students' interest in the subject such that they fall in love with the subject matter.
Teaching how to think, such that you can solve a problem, is a key part of studying science subjects. Often while learning mathematics, we fail to enunciate where the matter would be useful in the future. I prepare an application-based approach to learning fundamentals. I am well-versed in the question pattern in ICSE and ISC boards since I am an alumnus of these education boards. I will be able to guide students in navigating board exam preparations and in concept building.
Experience
-
Research Associate (May, 2023
–May, 2024) at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University, Japan
I worked as a full-time researcher in Ultrafast lasers and condensed matter physics. I fabricated novel Chemical vapour-deposited solar cell devices and studied the charge carrier dynamics under a state-of-the-art time-resolved electron microscope.
