I am a graduate of the International Baccalaureate who completed the diploma in 2024. I did take English Language and Literature A SL with scores from 5-7’s (mostly 6s and 7s) throughout the diploma years and am very passionate about English Language and Literature. I have been tutoring my colleagues since I used to score really well and have a way of explaining things to people which will stick with them. I am a very patient tutor who loves to teach and can pick up on the student’s learning style and match my tutoring style to their own learning style. As an International Baccalaureate student, I am extremely familiar with the course content for the IB as well as the required work and grading system and grading criterion which is crucial for any IB student in need of english tutoring. Being an IB student also enables me to be able to teach english to any other system as the IB course content is much harder and digs deeper into english than most of the other educational systems enabling me to not only teach IB students, but also other students from other educational systems. As a fresh graduate, all the information is fresh in my brain and I have many useful resources to be able to share with my students which they can use to further strengthen their knowledge. Although I may not have as much experience as other people in this field, I am a fresh graduate who can more closely relate to current students and can be of good use to strengthen their english skills in writing, conversation, and grammar.
