As a teacher assistant, I was able to teach recitation classes for Calculus 1 (MTH103) and Calculus 2 (MTH104) courses. This enhanced my abilities to teach undergraduate students in university. My duties included: •assisting the professors by leading recitation sessions where students can review and practice the material covered in lectures. I would explain difficult concepts, work through example problems, and provide additional clarification as needed. •communicate regularly with the professor to coordinate lesson plans, discuss student progress, and address any concerns or issues that arise in the recitation course. •help professors manage the classroom by providing additional supervision and support to students during lessons and examinations •assisted with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, grading assignments, and organizing classroom resources. •created office hours for my recitation students in case of any additional help in the coursework and was praised by my good communication to deliver information to the students and my teaching abilities. This can be seen through the student’s evaluation of the recitation lab.
