I am a Master’s degree and a B.Sc special degree holder from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I have studied Zoology, Botany and Chemistry for my bachelors degree. I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for three years and currently working for a research based career. I have nice teaching experience with school students for teaching basic biological skills, plant and animal diversity and form and function, and organizing teacher training programs for basic biology, parasitology, entomology and molecular biology. Further, I have contributed for teaching in advance certificate and diploma courses in science. I have deeply studied Molecular biology and its applications through research. I would prefer science teaching home visits and online teaching for grade 6 - grade 11 students and A/L Biology students in both Sinhala and English medium. I would teach the theory components and cover up the past paper questions along with each lesson. Then focus on revision work and evaluate students in monthly tests. Can go for further explanations based on the students needs.
