Anas ibn Malik [R.A] reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِم
Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.

I am an Islamic studies teacher [Muallimah]
I am passionate about teaching. I love simplifying intricate concepts and teaching them, making it easier for the next person to understand. I am patient and quality driven, these are characteristics I feel are most important when teaching any concept, especially Deen. I have experience in teaching all ages from toddlers to teens as well as the more matured, however I do specialize in teaching kids. Along with passion and experience, I am able to make learning enjoyable. My teaching methodology is best suited to the student's learning style, whether it be visual, auditory, read/write or kinaesthetic. My times are flexible and I do offer a demo class for those who are interested.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا, وَ رِزْقًا طَيَّبًا, وَ عَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّل

Allahumma inni as'aluka 'Ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan

O Allah, I ask you for knowledge that is beneficial, a good provision and deeds that will be accepted.

Fee details

    R45/hour (US$2.38/hour)

    My fee varies based on timing as well as distance travelled.
