My name is Laeeq Ahmad. My areas of expertise are Science, social studies, history, geography and Olevels Biology. I have a teaching experience of 21 years. I have undergone more than 50 training sessions in my stay at ddifferent International schools systems.
I am currently working with The City School, as a Biology teacher for O’levels. Previously I have worked with Beaconhouse School system (8 years), Bloomfield Hall School System (4 years), The Educators (4 Years), Lahore Lyceum (2 years) and Daanish School System (1 year).
I strongly believe that Teaching methodology bring forth positive results as it revolves around the overall plan or approach used for systematic presentation of language or subject matter in the classroom. It involves a set of assumptions about the nature of learning and teaching, as well as specific techniques and activities consistent with the chosen approach.
I always pursue multiple teaching styles as individuals are way apart from each other according to capabilities. Some students may learn better with one style of teaching while others may learn better with another. The teaching philosophies I can best relate to are realism, pragmatism, and idealism.
The domains of my interpersonal skills are:
Active listening, Adaptability, Collaboration, Creativity, Empathy, Engagement, Focus on growth, Lifelong learning, Patience, Preparedness and Respect.
By the grace of Allah Almighty, I have secured the highest results in my subject for 7 times in my 21 years in IGCSE.
I take pride in my profession and it gives me a momentum for new vistas of learnings and enables me to adapt according to changing trends proactively.
