Exponent of Bharatnatyam and disciple of Guru Kalashree Kalamandalam Radha Marar, Kalamandalam Jaya and Shri Ravi. Winner of First Award by Akhil Natarajam Aantar Sanskrutik Sangh in Mohiniattam.
I teach Bharatnatyam while simultaneously conveying the philosophy, ideology, spiritual significance and the rich history underlying the dance form as enunciated in the treatises of Natyashastra and Abhinaya Darpana.
My Bharatnatyam classes would include both dance and theory along with separate sessions for Mudras (hand gestures), Expressions and certain yogic and warm up exercises for the alignment of posture, strengthening of muscles and endurance.
