My name is Jessica but my students prefer to call me Ms Jessica. I am a graduate of Biochemistry from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I didn't actually want to start a teaching career while in school but then I decided to try. I was really shocked to see that I really enjoy tutoring or teaching, whichever you decide to call it. I make sure I use different aids like videos, questionnaires, worksheet, brain teasers, and starters to help my student understand to the best of my knowledge. Other than that, I like to bond a little with my student because surely we must learn with fun, we don't want to make it boring. Once learning is fun most students rarely lose focus so that's why I incorporate it. I also know that my student may even know a topic better than I do and honestly it makes me glad to see such results at the end of the whole tutoring. It doesn't matter the the student is young or old, I always do my part but when it's impossible I am honest to quit. I believe the ability to be honest with the performance of my pupil makes me a good tutor. So let's start this journey together and become friends along the way.
