I have learnt Carnatic music for over 8 years and have performed in many religious and community events. I have also learnt Flute and I am part of the High school band. Learning vocal and instrument has helped me explore music and develop a passion for it. I am passionate about teaching Carnatic music to young kids. The foundation for Carnatic music is very crucial to developing life long passion for the art form. I have been fortunate to find a caring, kid-friendly and proficient teacher and stick with her for many years and hone my skills. I will be able to teach the foundation lessons of Carnatic music in a fun and engaging way! I use fun play methods like Kahoot and Quizlet to make sure kids learn and retain the fundamentals of Carnatic music.
