I, Abhisek Midya, worked in various organizations as a faculty member. My research interest is Theoretical computer science - specif- ically - automata and logic, active automata learning, quantum finite state automata, variants of finite state machines - extended finite state machies, currently I am focusing on logic and algebraic structure of Quantum finite automata. Also I am pursuing PhD (part time) in BITS Pilani, K.K Birla, Goa Campus. We are interested in exploring the field of automata, logic and algebraic theory. Also, automata with infinite words and their connection with logic.
I worked in the SWS group, Institute for Computing and Information Sciences, Radboud University, Nijmegan, The Netherlands, since 2019 July (18 months), as research member. Apart from my research work, I played another role of teaching assistant in a course - Data structure and Algorithm.
I did my masters in Computer Science in 2013 from VIT University, Vellore, India and bachelors in Information Technology in 2010 from WBUT, India. After my masters, I worked 2 years [2012-2014] as a junior research fellow in a Theoretical computer science research group (DST Funded Project under the guidance of Prof Dr. Lakshmanan Kuppusamy) of SCSE, VIT university, Vellore. Also, I worked [2015-2019] in various universities in India (Bangalore, Hyderabad - detail is in my resume) as a faculty member. Currently, I am working in Bengaluru as a faculty member
