Job Overview:
The Technology Educator and HR Administrator will play a dual role in supporting the organization’s technical and administrative functions. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging technology education to students or staff, while also managing human resources tasks. This position requires a mix of technical proficiency, educational expertise, and strong administrative skills to ensure the organization runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Educator:
Design, develop, and deliver technology-based educational programs in areas such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and other web development tools.
Utilize platforms like Figma and Photoshop to teach UI/UX design and graphic design skills.
Create comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials for a range of skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
Facilitate workshops, group projects, and hands-on coding sessions to enhance practical knowledge.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, adapting course material accordingly.
Assess student progress through evaluations, projects, and assignments, providing actionable feedback to improve performance.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment to encourage growth and learning.
HR Administrator:
Manage the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire orientation.
Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
Coordinate training and professional development for staff, ensuring continuous skills improvement.
Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and employee leave management.
Address employee queries regarding policies, procedures, and HR matters.
Implement and manage HR policies, ensuring they align with company goals and legal regulations.
Organize and conduct performance appraisals, assisting in developing performance improvement plans when necessary.
Support employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and design tools (Figma, Photoshop).
Experience with teaching or training, ideally in a technology-focused role.
Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and employee management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and educational platforms.
Familiarity with payroll and HR management software.
Knowledge of additional coding languages or development tools (e.g., Python, SQL).
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) or teaching credentials.
Work Environment:
