My teaching style is basically based on the individual needs of students. Even where I have multiple students at once, I try to tailor the lesson in a way that not student feels left out.
The goal is not to be perfect, it is is to ensure consistent progress in learning. At the end of the lesson, the student(s) should be able to point out something new he/she learnt. It must not be everything. Just one thing. Something to be excited about that makes the next lesson to be look forward to.
What makes me a great teacher is my understanding that all students are not the same. What works for one, might not work for the other. Each student has personal needs. And those needs should be addressed. And I ensure that they are.
