I am post graduate mathematics (primary to ordinary level ) teacher currently working in government school in Colombo .
I always teach mathematics in interesting maner by using modern mathematical methodologies in teaching learning process and help students to develop competences in mathematics by practising the materials and resource books recommend by National Institute of Education and Ministry of Education .
As well as I always guide weak students to improve their skills by applying special procedures like games,worksheets from simple to complex and I assure the higher grade in examinations .
I daily practice delisa work sheets, simple unitwise tests,mathematical games,concepts maps, mathematical aids, diagrams, google forms,mathematical instruments, puzzles, domino sets and much more interesting activities to emphasize the mathematical concepts .
I always make students for National examinations by practising past papers .
I always update my knowledge of mathematics and changes and modifications in Government syllabus by participating seminars and workshops
conducted by NIE and Ministry of Education.,
Very first I recognize the level of the student by giving the diagnostic test paper and diagnose the student as a gifted student /average student/weak student and I use appropriate methodology to uplift the level of the student and prepare students to acquire higher rank in examinations .
