I have a friendly "Hail fellow! Well met!" style of teaching, and my students appreciate it, and enjoy my lessons greatly. PLUS my results are good..in the last seven years no one has failed at GCSE or A level, and most people have achieved the level they aimed for. I believe that my own passion for Literature, and my own high level skills in writing (I am an awarded writer of both poetry and prose, as well as having published two books) means that I am able to inspire students with a love for Literature and to give them a special gateway to poetry, as well as making the difficult concepts that great Literature deals with accessible to them.
In addition in IELTS all my students have got the grade their university asked for, and many have surpassed this grade. No students have needed a costly retake, as I always assess accurately and advise people when they are ready to take the exam and reach the grade they need to be at. Naturally I do my best to teach efficiently so that people get to the level as quickly and economically as possible.
Similarly none of my students have failed to pass Cambridge EAL examinations at the level they were hoping for. Again I always assess people`s capabilities carefully, so they do not throw money away by enering an examination they are not ready for.
