8 years playing experienced and 3 years teaching experienced carnatic violin tutor. I teach traditional carnatic music from beginner to intermediate levels.I value skills more than anything else in this world. The only thing one can leave here is the footprint for the next generation to follow. I want to share what little knowledge I have along with making a couple of extra bucks. But let me be clear that I'm not money minded. All I am looking for is to share knowledge and gain more. The more you share is how you will learn more.I start off with basic swara exercises called Sarali varisais and progresses into Janta varisais, alankarams and Geetams. Varnams are a bit advanced and takes upto 2 years to start off with. I'll be brutally honest about the learning span of carnatic violin. It'll take an average of 8-10 years to be a pro in it. There are no shortcuts.

The usual span of class is one hour. Both online and and one-on-one classes are available. Weekends preferred.

My teaching methods include students to pick up their own style and would want them to explore the world of carnatic music by challenging themselves by listening, observing and experimenting the vast world of carnatic ragas.

The classes are intented for all. The only condition is that you should be a good music enthusiast and should have good ear for carnatic music.
