Formerly an English coach in MIS(Malacca International School), I specialize in English subjects .from Form1-Form 5,Muet, IELTS and IGCSE. My expectation is that all my students score A+, A or A-. So far, my students are able to meet my requirement after I coached them. This is my passion - making sure my students excel in their studies.
When teaching writing, I engage students in brainstorming ideas for writing essays, then I will do the essay with them step-by-step. As far as reading is concerned, I will require the student to have a small notebook. I will then boost their vocabulary by asking them to write on their notebook those words that they do not understand. They may be required to make sentences with these words.

Overall, I make sure that I respect students as individuals and I expect to be respected, in return. I make sure that I know and understand their strengths and weaknesses. In this way, I can coach them to score in their exams.

My final word is that students should visualize themselves as having the ability to excel, not only in English, but for all other aspects in their lives. We have the the same brains, some may be slow, but things will work out, if you are hardworking and positive in your thinking.
