I am Teacher Sibu,

I have been teaching ESOL for over 5 years now. I have taught with TutorABC (center based - Taiwan) and Acadsoc (China). Most recently I have also been teaching with Oikid ( China), EasyEng (Saudi Arabia), Early Birds Education (China), Language Solutions (Uzbekistan), Iboux Education (European) and I am currently with Berlitz (Japan) and Edusogno (Italian) as an IELTS writing correction and speaking mock test examiner. I have an education in Business Studies and have worked in the Corporate and Higher Education industries for over 13 years.

I have taken courses with Pearson Institute and The Professional Development Institute for my TEFL certification. Teaching ESOL online has been an adventure. I have taught at an English Academy and a Private College and always enjoy having fun with my students young and old. . I create a friendly atmosphere for students to learn in and encourage creativity in the virtual learning environment. I guide and teach learners from all ages with provided lesson plans. Since teaching online, I have been using Google Meet, ClassIn, Zoom and Skype to conduct classes and I am familiar with Kakao, DingTalk, Line, Wechat, Slack and other IM software.

These are well designed materials, tools and applications targeting all age groups for the best learning experience but I also create my own lesson content as well. I specialize in Exam preparation ( CAE, IELTS just to name a few).

I live in Cape Town, South Africa. I have a 2000va UPS(inverter) to keep my fibre, laptop, ring light and desktop (2nd screen) running during load shedding.
