Hi there, my name is Jody. I love meeting new students and helping them excel in mathematics. I specialize in Pure Maths 1, 2, 3 and Mechanics for the Cambridge 9709 A-level. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, ensuring they are well-prepared for their exams.

I studied Civil Engineering, but have been teaching Cambridge AS and A-level maths for the past 3 years. I focus on making complex concepts easy to understand and apply, using a step-by-step approach. I can also help students to summarize each section of work in their syllabus and master topical questions for each section. Once students are confident with the different types of questions in their syllabus, I encourage them to spend a number of months doing past papers and then work through the past papers with me to get feedback and assistance with any questions where necessary. My approach aims to build both confidence and competence in students, ensuring they are thoroughly prepared for their exams.

I enjoy teaching interactively and I am usually available in the late afternoons and evenings. My flexible scheduling ensures that lessons can fit into your busy timetable, making it easier to stay consistent with your studies. In addition to regular lessons, I offer intensive revision sessions before exams to help consolidate knowledge and boost performance.
