I am writing to express my interest in the Part-time position with your organization. With a background as a master of Statistics, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my expertise and passion for teaching.
Currently, I am employed as an online statistics tutor on upwork part-time where I teach undergraduate courses in Probability Definitions and Properties and Conditional Probability, sampling e.t.c. I am dedicated to utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for my students.
I strive to be not just an instructor, but an educator who fosters critical thinking and encourages students to apply their knowledge in practical ways.
In addition to my lecturing experience, I conducted Statistical Analysis of Crime in Haryana as my Masters research under the supervision of Dr. Jitender Kumar in Kurukshetra University, India August 2023 where the main objective was to perform statistical analysis on the crime rate. The methods of data analysis were Time series trend analysis, Correlation and Regression analysis, and Standardization methods for comparing rates and the tools employed were Excel, SPSS, and Python. I have also gained some understanding of Statistical data analysis and the software tools used in data management and analysis, such as Spss, Stata, R, and Python, Machine Learning, and C.
