I believe that geniuses are made, not born. Everything is easy depending on the methods of content delivery. I teach using questions and wouldn't pin a student down for a wrong answer. Every answer is right to the right questions and learning is a process not a spontaneous thing. I encourage using the internet to sharpen content.
My teaching method is simple: Summarize everything into short, precise notes capturing major points and details. I appreciate wordy explanations if they lack a better word.
As a DS, I delve so much into the practicality of content, sometimes theory can be inclusive of details that need hands-on to master. The same applies to math and business.
In addition to that, I am a psychologist. Understanding a student's ability to learn is my brightest northern star: students' IQ levels vary, therefore a particular method is tailored for an individual student depending on his/her content mastery.
My biggest advocacy also goes to individual effort: In simpler terms, the willingness to learn is the best motivation to study. Autodidact is also vital, that is, a self-taught concept sticks better and for a longer time.
