As Math teacher, I always do apply the principle of constructivism in all my teachings. I always started with what they know already. From then, I will connect the previous lesson to the new lesson giving a clear transitional phrase.

I always wanted my students to enjoy learning process, so I am integrating technology in my teaching. I use Google Classroom, Google Forms, Schoology, and the like. Games, either kinesthetic or using technology (kahoot or quizizz) are applied so that they will not get bored in the classroom.

Real-life/contextualized problems are the one I am giving to my students so that they can see connection. From there, they can see the application of Mathematics in their real-life situations. Complexity of the problem is always being considered. I always started with the easy question/problem. Developing first the confidence of the students will make me easy hook their attention and interest in the lesson. Basic skills are continuously practice in my classes.

I also believe that properly motivated individuals can maximize their basic skills and reach their potentials for success. Also, the highest standards of learning are better achieved when teachers work in close collaboration with families. Therefore, I am always giving update to the parents with regards to the academic and social standing of their child/children.
