Currently, since April 2024 Dr Kunal has been working as a Professor and being in charge and Instructor at Yoga-lab and Skill-lab, MGM Medical College, in Dept. of Physiology; MGU, Kishanganj, Bihar. He has been involved with learning and teaching Physiology and Yoga since 2009. He has been contributing to various international and national CMEs, webinars, guest lectures, workshops, etc., in the capacity of the organizer and/or resource person. At present, as Associate Professor in the dept. of Physiology, apart from regular teaching jobs he is actively involved with the development of curriculum, contents, and assessment modules for the students of various health sciences courses, his official duties include multiple teaching and research activities, such as lectures, small group teaching, team-based learning, case-based learning, chapter discussion, seminar moderation, clinical case discussion, journal club moderation, practical training, guidance in research activities, etc. to various undergraduate and postgraduate students.
He has successfully conducted multiple research activities, investigating the impacts of different Yoga practices, and has published many original research articles in reputed journals of high impact. Under his guidance, many MBBS students were awarded ICMR, a short-term Student’s Grant, completed the project and submitted the report.
