I am a Doctorate qualified tutor applying on this platform as an online part time tutor. I have completed my UG, PG in Life Sciences and PhD in Microbiology and have been an excellent student-cum-teacher for biology till now.
My teaching methodology varies with the students' requirements. I go along the syllabi provided and lay out the plan for tutoring which involves both student and my convenience. I take one topic per class along with revision the next day/ class and regular evaluation. If it's a crash course or an exam-oriented tutorial, I take classes as per the syllabus and time available till the exam. Students are free to ask any relevant questions any time during the class. On holidays, the timings can be flexible too.
I expect my students to be responsible, respectful and serious towards the classes, which is of paramount importance for me.
Apart from Biology and Microbiology, I have been teaching Biotechnology, particularly Animal Biotech and Biostatistics since last two years to Masters and PhD students. Course and nature of classes can be adjusted according to requirements of the students.

    Since my interest in Biology has been paramount, I started taking classes while in the college. To begin with, classes were offline and thereafter, online class culture took over. Once my degree finished, I started taking classes regularly and all through my PhD, I was given classes of Masters students too as a lecturer. I have been good at my job in terms of going by the syllabus, taking care whether the student is able to grasp what I am teaching. Since biology is a more illustrative subject, I take note of the requirements of the students. Till now, I have taken individual students for tutoring and I prefer to do so. The only thing required from my students are courtesy and respect towards the teacher. They are free to ask any questions relevant to the subject anytime during the course.

    ₹1,200–8,000/hour (US$14.04–93.58/hour)

    I charge tutoring fee depending upon the requirements of the students. If a students needs regular classes, I charge monthly. If it's about any one assignment or project or some competitive exam, I charge as per the classes/ hours.
