My teaching style includes combining spaced-repitition, active recak and the socratic method of teaching. I allow students to arrive to conclusions by themselves and train them to critically think about their coursework such that they are adept at answering any questions related to their course. With spaced-repitition of topics learned, I make sure we work against the "forgetting curve" and enable them to remember everything they learn for longer periods of time. My students generally jump by 2 or 3 grades within months and gain skills that will empower them to learn by themselves in the future. I also share multimedia resources such as interesting and educational books, videos and even tiktoks to help apply the concepts they learn to real life situations!
As a medical student, I'm also aware of my student's mental and physical health and how they impact their abilities to learn. Therefore, scheduled breaks and recommendations of healthy studying habits are always a part of my teaching!
