I was an English teacher at a leading catholic girl's school in Colombo and currently I am a lecturer at a private campus in Colombo on visiting basis. Further I am conducting tuitions for English Language and literature for both Cambridge and Sri Lankan national curriculum for more than 10 years.
If I mention my academic qualifications, currently I am reading for an MA in TESL at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. I completed a BA(Hons) in English at CINEC Campus, Sri Lanka in 2022. In addition to that, I have completed a Diploma in English in 2014 (Royal Institute), an Advanced Certificate in English for Business and professional education in 2016 (The Open University of Sri - Lanka, Nawala, Nugegoda.) and a Diploma in English Language and Literature 2017/2018(The Open University of Sri Lanka, Nawala Nugegoda)
I am an open-minded, flexible, and tolerant person who welcomes new ideas and adapts to new environments. I strongly believe that my qualifications, skills, and experience provide me with the capabilities to fulfil my students' requirements. Further, I would like to mention that I am highly confident that my strong initiative, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to cater to a diverse range of learners allow me to play a crucial role in a fast-paced teaching environment
