I am a resourceful mathematics and sciences tutor with 3+ years of experience in teaching mathematics courses to high school and college students. I am very dedicated in providing my students with appropriate learning experience while fostering a productive learning environment.
I hold a first class degree in Mathematics and Computer Science with specialization in Statistics from Technical University of Mombasa, Kenya. Besides this, I am passionate about helping students achieve their overall academic goals. I also possess excellent mathematics knowledge, strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way and I pride myself in the ability to motivate and encourage students while creating a friendly teacher-students moments.
For the years I have interacted with my students, my teaching style has always been centered on class engagement. My dedication has been to cater for every student as well as make the subject as interesting as possible. I highly value active learning methodology and I ensure that everyone actively participates in discussions, demonstrations and problem solving.
Though this, I have helped hundreds of students change their attitudes towards mathematics as a lesson as well as better understand mathematical concepts and principles, and be able to apply them in real life situations.
