The combination of my love of English and my determination to teach makes me a rare creature, an exceptional mix of a professional and a diligent scholar in the subject. In my teaching, I center on developing students' love of literature, language, and critical thinking. My goal is to make English accessible and interesting through the use of interesting lectures and discussions sessions as well as new learning methods. I believe in building a classroom where students are encouraged to be creative and bold and where they can freely express their views and learn about different viewpoints. I intend to combine multimedia resources, real life examples, and creative projects to reinforce understanding and spark the spark for a life-long learning. In addition, I appreciate individualized attention and therefore work to personalize my instruction to fulfill the specific needs and preferences of each student. Whether parsing the intricacies of Shakespearean sonnets or analyzing contemporary literature or improving writing skills, I push exploration and critical thinking. Other than academic achievements, I am looking forward to building the confidence, communication skills, and clarity of the language as well. It is my personal goal to guide a generation of competent, articulate youths who will take up the mantle and make a meaningful contribution to the world.
