For more than 15 years now, my teaching style has improved by developing a need-based music curriculum that is effective and tailored to meet individual student's needs. By maximizing my teaching roles, to my credit, it became evident when I was picked to have worn the school's best teacher award in 2018. That same year, my students' motivational level rose by 30% as a result of my unconventional keyboard teaching method. This brought about a 40% improvement in my students' practical performance.
My teaching style steps down and starts from where the students are, to examine them one by one and design a lesson plan to meet their individual needs. For practical performance usually, the lesson outlines a practical guide that is effective within the duration of interest with practical results. Music theory components are simplified in a practical way to sing or perform on an instrument. Music is practical and I use hands-on training to achieve this goal. When l teach a class, my focus has always been on an individual student and the next and the next. This is why I am driven to explore many teaching styles to carefully guide all of them, knowing fully well that everyone matters, including those who are slow learners. Teaching for me, is an endeavor that none in the process should be left behind. My love for the subject makes a lot of difference in students' lives by stimulating in them the same love as well.
