I make students understand topics through real example which they can relate to them, I feel subject must feel like their own, not a very distant inaccessible object, which you are not able to imagine, I encourage them to imagine and find out themselves what it is, how it was, and they themselves will come with reason, why it was like this, if they study like this they are never going to forget anything. I also make sure they are able to express what they learn, this will inculcate a habit of expressing themselves.
