What makes me exceptional from other tutors is that on the first day i do an assessment on my student through interaction to make them feel at ease and also this helps me understand my student's personality. One small trait of someone can help one understand how to talk to them and work with them. For someone to understand and grasp content; peace of mind, concetration and the liberty to ask questions without feeling as a nuisance is very key. It may all sound gibberish and childish but the mind is a complex organ but it is fragile as well, you have to train it to help it understand as well as store the passed information whether numerical or words. And the goal of a tutor is to not only teach the student the designated task but to also help the student remember information, apply it in real life if needed to and also learn the merits of it all. Knowledge is power and i believe it is a weapon that everyone should possess despite their age, race or colour. If you can have it then why hesitate? Grab it as if it was meant for you.
