I take my time to first understand my student. This way, I will know where to begin with you. I set time target for myself that hopefully by the end of three months of teaching you, you must have attain a measurable level.
For science subjects such as Physics and Chemistry, I teach practically, explaining with experiments. I do not just tell you that an unripe fruit is acidic, I show you with litmus test. I don't just tell you to plot a quadratic graph, I plot it so you see and plot your own
I help my student recall by asking promptly information from previous topics
In Maths, I give you formulas needed to solve. Currently, I have a list of about 40 Maths formulas. More than 100 formulae in physics and around 30 formulae in Chemistry
I don't wait till you get to ss3 before showing you how to solve WAEC NECO JAMB questions but from ss1
Ultimately, I understand individual differences from students to Students. I don't have to compare you to my past students. I believe you are you and an opportunity to raise another academic giant
So, I could come down to your level, allow you ask questions for verification of fact.
Firmly, I don't condone laziness since I am not lazy. You have to do you assignment promptly
Finally, many of my past students are graduates today and are in careers such as Medicine, Pharmacy and Engineering. Thanks
