In my teaching, I prioritize nurturing both musical skill and a genuine connection to the songs we sing. I firmly believe that as students intentionally practice and reflect, they not only enhance their musical abilities but also deepen their grasp of Christian theology. This understanding allows them to authentically express their devotion in worship. I provide ample opportunities for meaningful discussions and reflections on the spiritual themes within our repertoire. Furthermore, I actively encourage students to share their personal faith journeys, using music as a medium to articulate their beliefs and experiences.
