I am a registered technical trainer in electrical and electronics and computer both by TVETA and TSC, I foster a level of professionalism, skill-based learning and accomplishment to my learners. I graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Technology Education (Electrical/Electronics and computer option) in December 2021. I recently completed my Professional development course in teaching of international curricula at Riara University Kenya conversant with BNC, IB and Cambridge curricula.
I currently tutor online having done homeschooling for the past 5 years handling individual learners in STEM subjects like Electrical, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Computer. I also work at Teach for Kenya as a teacher leader. With a strong background in science education and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning, I will be excited to deliver my online teaching and learning skills to this team. Having relevant experience in teaching electrical/electronics and computer back in 2020, AutoCAD, I can diligently handle the STEM subjects i.e.: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer/IT, Electrical and Electronics.
In my previous roles, I have successfully integrated technology tools such as virtual labs, interactive simulations, and collaborative online platforms to enhance student understanding and engagement in an Electrical/Electronics class. I have also worked closely with students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills, preparing them for success in an increasingly technology-driven world. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating engaging, interactive, and student-centered learning environments. I am well-versed in designing curriculum, creating multimedia resources, and utilizing online platforms to facilitate effective learning experiences.
