Lead Instructor (Feb, 2022

Lead Instructor for English at PEARL Project, Masjid Jumhurriah Petaling Jaya. Within the PEARL Project, language literacy is a cornerstone component. The project aims to enhance children's proficiency in languages, particularly English, through engaging and interactive activities. As a Lead Instructor for the PEARL Project at Masjid Jumhurriah, I designed and implemented English classes specifically tailored to children aged 9-12. These classes focused not only on language skills but also on building a strong foundation in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. By creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment, we aimed to foster a love for language learning and empower students to communicate effectively in English.
The PEARL Project also emphasizes financial literacy as an essential life skill for children. Through workshops, games, and real-life scenarios, students are taught the basics of money management, budgeting, saving, and understanding financial concepts. By equipping children with financial literacy skills, the project aims to empower them to make informed financial decisions and develop responsible financial habits from a young age.
In today's digital age, digital literacy is crucial for children's success in both academic and real-life contexts. As part of the PEARL Project, students are taught digital literacy skills, including how to navigate digital platforms, use educational software, conduct online research, and stay safe online. By integrating technology into the learning process, the project aims to prepare students for the digital world and equip them with the skills needed to thrive in a technology-driven society.
