I have been working as a teacher for the last 18 years of my life. I hold a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I'm bilingual! I can speak, write, and read English and Spanish.

For the last 13 years, I have worked for the Chula Vista Elementary School district. I was the lead teacher in an inclusion classroom where 5 of my students had an IEP in place and the rest were students of general education. It was amazing to see students develop empathy for their peers and help them during the day without discrimination.
