As an experienced, university qualified teacher with a specialty in English and English literature, my love and deep understanding of texts is what helps me achieve consistently high results with students. My background qualifications in psychology and counselling have also proved invaluable in my ability to connect with people and understand the motivations, challenges and potential for each of us.

Through my work both in classroom settings and individual sessions over the last twenty years, it has been my joy to assist many people move through their education journey with increased confidence, deepened understanding, improved skillset and growing self esteem. It's been my honour to have kept in contact with many of them and share in their life successes.

Students, parents and care-givers are continually impressed and delighted by the progress and outcomes achieved through consistent work with me. I believe that the support and encouragement, deep knowledge base, broad work and life experience and love for the process of learning I have, is critical to these positive results. New technologies and digital platforms, so vital to our world today, are also embraced, understood and covered extensively through my sessions.
