    As a history/CRE (Christian Religious Education) teacher, my primary responsibility is to educate students on historical events, developments, and figures, or on the principles, teachings, and traditions of Christianity, depending on the subjects. My job description typically includes the following duties and responsibilities:

    1. Curriculum Development: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with curriculum standards and educational objectives. Adapt teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
    2. Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and historical or religious literacy. Use a variety of instructional strategies, such as lectures, discussions, group activities, multimedia presentations, and hands-on projects, to facilitate learning.
    3. Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of historical events, periods, and themes, or of Christian doctrine, scripture, and ethical principles.
    4. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer formative and summative assessments to measure students' understanding and mastery of course content. Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
    5. Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student engagement and participation. Set clear expectations for behavior and academic performance, and enforce classroom rules and procedures consistently.
