I am Dr. Madhurima Panwar (Ph.D biotechnology). I did my doctorate at United Nation Organization ICRISAT, Hyderabad India on a project entitled “Development and characterization of transgenic groundnut plants for enhanced production of the β -carotene biosynthesis genes to combat Vitamin-A malnourishment. This work involved development of transgenic plants for high beta -carotene, which is a major precursor of vitamin A. Skilled in plant tissue culture, genetic transformation and molecular and biochemical techniques for the characterization of transgenic plants. I have publications in peer reviewed journals/books. I have also had experience in monitoring and training technicians and undergraduate students with little prior research skills. My research background is more focused on transgenic and molecular biology. Altogether, I have over 8 years of research experience in molecular biology and biotechnology. My aim is to utilize as well as to enhance my skills and knowledge towards excellence in frontier areas of biotechnology.     I am doctorate in biotechnology and worked on the enhancement of beta-carotene in groundnut through genetic transformation. My expertise is in plant genetic transformation having 8 years of research experience .During my post doctorate at VMSRF, Bengaluru, I was involved in regeneration of efficient method of transformation in soybean. I worked as faculty in the department of biotechnology at CPS, Jain university for the period of 1 year. My job responsibilities include teaching and delivering lectures and lessons, preparing course materials, and evaluating students’ performance through exams, assignments and conduction of lab.
