I Incoperate a variety of teaching methods for example demonstrations, hands on activities and presentations.
My teaching style is interactive and student centred. I believe in fostering a collaborative learning environment where students feel engaged and empowered.
My goal is to not only impart knowledge but also to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning in my students. For example in my Luo literature class I encourage my students to analyse texts from multiple perspectives and express their own opinions through creative writing assignments so as to show the mastery of the language. I often use real world examples to make abstract concepts more relatable and memorable to students. I also recognise that every student has different or rather special learning needs and preferences, so I strive to adapt my teaching styles and materials accordingly.
As a tutor I am committed to professional development and staying updated on the latest pedagogical techniques and educational research.
I regularly seek feedback from students and colleagues to reflect on my teaching practices and make continuous improvements.
I believe I'm fit for this position without any doubt.
